Winter Hack? Genesis Io id 2011

We have just taken delivery of the 2011 Genesis Io id and this bike is just awesome. Reynolds 520 steel frame proves once again that steel is real my friends, and with choice of either an Alfine 8spd or the new Alfine 11 speed rear hub you will have more than enough gears for those winter jaunts. The internal hub gears are sealed against the elements and really are very low maintenance for the winter riding. Most experienced mountain bikes will remember a time that they or a friend blew up a rear mech in sticky mud or extreme winter riding. This is eliminate with the ioid, and with the horizontal dropouts and inbuilt chain tensioners changing a tube a breeze. A constant chain tension for silent running over the rough ground and the ability to change gears without pedalling means this winter-ride favourite has advantages in any conditions, not just the mud-fests.
The Genesis Ioid is available in 16, 17.5, 19 and 20.5" frame and comes in the stunning Cherry Red only. This colour is for both the 11 and 8 speed versions of the bike. The brakes are shimano deore and the forks are the Rock Shox Recon Gold.

The simple looks of the steel frame and hub gears are sure to make this bike a classic for years to come.
We reckon that thanks to this bike you can be out riding when everyone else is tucked up at home.

The 8 speed is in stock now and available for £1319.00.

The 11 speed is due January and will retail at £1499.00.

Both bikes are available with 0% finance with a deposit as small as 10% of the bikes value. These bikes can be delivered for free anywhere in the UK mainland.
